That's why he has supported millions in investments in roads, infrastructure, and long-term planning that help communities stay connected while preserving the character of the county we call home.
The Next Generation’s Opportunity
Providing a sustainable future where our children and grandchildren have opportunity, success, and happiness is one of Mike’s passions. After serving his country as a United States Navy Corpsman and then moving to St. Charles County in 1991 with his wife, Jennifer, Mike started improving our communities before even holding office as a coach, volunteer, and helpful neighbor. To this day, setting our youth up to succeed and giving them the chance to build a future at home is a top priority.
Bringing Our Tax Dollars Home
With Mike championing the cause, the St. Charles County Port Authority was established in 2019 to bring millions of dollars back home, including a $3.5 million investment in the river terminal at Klondike Park. With his help, your tax dollars are coming back to work in the community, support small businesses, and promote economic development, instead of going to projects elsewhere.
